Make the outdated design modern and popping out
People from ALM we're looking for a designer specialized in websites, with a focus on agencies, software houses, etc. After checking their old site, I decided to ditch some subpages, restructure the menu, change some labels, and make it stand out a little. How we, together with ALM, managed to do it? We created a horizontal-oriented website with a lot of subtle animations that emphasize the content, which is crucial here. Below you can check the old sitemap, and the updated one.

Compress and optimize
After checking ALM's Google Analytics and running few quick user tests I was sure that the old structure lacks a lot of information, so most of their visitors we're bouncing off almost instantly, because they couldn't find the most usual pages, e.g. Career, Services, etc. So I re-ordered the whole navigation - to be a little more accurate - we build it from the ground up. Then the main challenge was the accessibility, which was quite tough, because of that horizontal content arrangement. I've put a lot of effort to figure out the proper navigation in few places, with some additional hints here and there, so the visitor will never get lost or will stay without an option to go back to the homepage or not be able to click the CTA form.
